Fostering Memories Since 1939

March 2021 – Curators Report

Since the announcement in the paper, on the website and on Facebook, that we are going to be open this season, the phone, E-mail and chance meetings on the street have produced a lot of interest. People are planning their vacations around that information and we have 8 bookings for 2021 and 1 for 2022.

The Membership committee met, we stuffed envelopes with membership information and they were mailed on Feb. 24th. To date we have 68 returns with 3 on the inactive list reapplying. We have 1 new member and a couple from Broadus who saw the write up in the paper and want to join. Many call to thank us for the certificate, of which they are going to frame.

We received a beautiful bronze of the Deadwood Stage, from an anonymous donor. Other donations were pictures, obituaries and odds and ends. We received a contribution from the Walter and Elaine Anderson Trust and the MT. Community Foundation Fund and one more Brand to put on the fence.
